WALGREENS
MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT
JUNE 2022 - PRESENT
As a Merchandising Assistant at the Support Center, I am able to assist in the day-to-day operations of a desk in the Health and Wellness division. This has gained me a lot of insight into how merchandising works within the Walgreens organization, which will benefit me when I seek other internal positions in different departments.

Most recently, I was selected to be a part of the MA Pod Pilot program. Since September, I have been in this role. In this position, I have helped train many contractors on an as-needed basis. This position has helped develop my communication and organizational skills through vendor and cross-functional team collaborations. Additionally, I am now a master in Stibo, the main merchandising tool that Walgreens uses. I have and will continue to train others on Stibo when the opportunities arise.

Upon transferring work over to the team, I have taken on a temporary position to help in the management of the project. I provide support daily to the project team and work with leadership to identify and correct any issues that arise. This project has helped shape me as a professional.

guaranteed rate field (Part-time seasonal)
JULY 2017 - present
I am going on my sixth season as an employee at Guaranteed Rate Field, home of the Chicago White Sox. For the past five seasons, I have gotten experience as a manager of a stand on the 100 level (the main floor of the stadium).

Additionally, this job has allowed me to travel and work at many different stadiums. I have managed stands in the following stadiums: Lambeau Field (Green Bay), American Family Field (Milwaukee), Busch Stadium (St. Louis), Target Field (Minneapolis), and Highmark Stadium (Buffalo, NY). Managing in these different sports environments has provided me insight as to how other professional sports teams run their gameday operations.

AUGUST 2021 - may 2022
At ISU, I was a member of SBS. As a member of this club, I was on the external operations committee. On this committee, I reached out to professionals in the sports field trying to get them to guest speak in front of our club. This club provided me with leadership opportunities, insightful knowledge of the sports business, as well as many new connections in sports throughout the country.
AUGUST 2021 - APRIL 2022
For my senior year, I was chosen to be on a project working with a National Football League team. Throughout several months, my team helped develop actions to meet given business goals. We ended by presenting to the Chief Merchandising Officer and VP of Business Development of this NFL team at their home stadium.

Student sUSTAINABILITY cOMMITTEE
With a minor in Business Environment and Sustainability, I was a member of the Student Sustainability Committee at Illinois State. As a committee, we are granted a budget for the University's sustainability department. With this money, different people and groups on campus can apply for money if their initiative is related to sustainability. We vote as a committee as to if each person/group receives money. This club has provided me insight as to different sustainability initiatives that can be taken to act with the environment in mind.

As a part of the committee, we host different sustainability events, with the one pictured on the right being the Zero Waste Tailgate. Here, we provide food to football patrons, while using all compostable or recyclable items.

As for sports, Sustainability will become more important as time goes on. Large sports venues have a large impact on the environment, consuming lots of energy and producing tons of waste. The future is bright though, with arenas like Climate Pledge Arena being introduced. Climate Pledge Arena is the first carbon-zero arena in all of sports.
